Adult Individual Therapy

When providing individual therapy, my first objective is to build a therapeutic relationship in which my clients can explore about themselves including their past issues and current challenges, gain insights and skills, and learn ways to overcome the issues. I aim to provide a safe, warm and respectful environment where we can work together on your goals. I integrate different therapeutic approaches that address the specific needs of each client. In working with adults, my approach to counseling is an integration of Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I see adult clients with a wide range of concerns, including PTSD/trauma, depression, bipolar, anxiety, parenting issues, relationship problems, life transitions/ adjustment issues, stress, personality disorder, boundary issues, grief and loss, unresolved childhood issues, domestic violence/abuse, self-esteem issues, and women’s issues. I also have a great deal of experience in working with pregnant and parenting women who have chemical dependency issues.
